Our Work

Here at Absolute Communication, we pride ourselves on results! Here is some of our most recent work:

Utah Shakespearean Festival
Spring 2010 - www.bard.org

This is Absolute Communication’s first outside client! They came to us for analytical help in recruiting more active patrons to attend the Festival held in Cedar City. Our goals include sending and analyzing a survey in order to make three focus groups, moderated by our team to determine new advertising paths for a more successful festival. Justin Hale is the Account Executive for this project.

Texas Recruitment
Fall 2009 - http://ucomm.utah.edu/

An increasing number of out-of-state students are coming to the University of Utah from Texas. Absolute Communication put together a plan making creative use of social media to recruit more students from the Lone Star state as a way to continue broadening the quality of students here at the U. We are working with Mark Woodland, Associate Vice President of University Marketing and Communications. Texans make up the fifth largest demographic to attend the U, yet no recruitment efforts have been made to increase this number. Absolute Communication has been selected to produce four videos with the help of Mike “Moose” Lee, in hopes of intriguing students to take action to become a Ute!

Absolute Website
Fall 2009 - http://www.absoluteuofu.com

This is the third semester for Absolute Communication and projects are getting bigger. Our website is the hub for our communication and for getting our word out there. It is a work in progress, but this semester our goal is to have it become a part of the Communications Department website. We will be adding content to this website often. This includes weekly updates, new and artistically improved photographs as well as inspirational quotes that show just what Absolute Communication is all about!

Community Support
Ongoing - http://www.absoluteuofu.com

Absolute Communication is growing, and just like all companies, it is necessary to obtain and keep funds. Absolute Communication has developed a list of ten, well known and highly respected companies in Salt Lake City to visit. Their support will allow us to create letterhead, brochures and even business cards so as to expand our client base and allow Absolute Communication to grow and learn, creating a team who can, in turn, serve our community. A presentation is being developed and with the approval of the board, Stephanie, Kevin and a few team members will head out in hopes of gaining partners, support and funds to sustain Absolute Communication and assist in the growth of this student-run Public Relations and Advertising agency.

It's All About U
Spring 2009 - http://ucomm.utah.edu/

In spring 2009, Absolute made a guide to help out-of-state parents of incoming freshmen get acquainted with the University of Utah. The members of the agency wrote the content in the booklet, which included information on potential student involvement with academics and extracurricular activities, transportation, safety, local dining, hotels and much more. The agency also designed the layout and structure of the booklet, including photographs from around campus.

Veterans Day
Fall 2009 - http://www.veteransday.utah.edu/

Since 1998, the University of Utah Veterans Day Committee has honored select Utah veterans in a special military service at an annual commemorative ceremony – one of the largest college campus events of its kind in the nation.

In 2009, the Committee asked our agency to help design their information mailer, to be sent out to invited honorees, guests, and members of the community. Developed with a tradition of respect and honor for those who have served our country, we worked closely with the committee to design a product that would reach our target audience and remain consistent with the message of adoration and celebration of our veterans.

Absolute Branding
Spring 2009 - http://www.absoluteuofu.com

When we set out to create our brand, we knew it meant more than just creating a logo. It meant portraying a successful image to the public to establish the value and breadth of our services, while capturing the mission statement we set forth.

Our mission to provide our clients with progressive, innovative and vibrant communication products continues as the field of communication evolves – providing our clients with absolute commitment, creativity and dedication to their needs.

Our brand, along with our name and logo, was unveiled in April 2009 during a ceremony hosted by our agency and attended by five local ad agencies and community leaders.
